We believe in the Love of the Triune God
God the Father loves the people of the world, even though we are sinful, rebel against Him and do not serve His love. He sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly.
We believe in Grace Alone
We do not deserve God’s love and cannot buy it or earn it. God sent Jesus Christ to suffer and die on the cross for the sins of all people. Jesus rose from the grave on Easter day to win the ultimate victory over death, Satan, and our sinful nature for us. The Holy Spirit now creates faith in people through God’s Word and Sacraments so that we now trust Jesus as our Lord and Savior and cling to His good promises.
We believe in Faith Alone
By His suffering and death as the substitute for all people of all time, Jesus completed God’s plan, earning forgiveness and eternal life for all people. Those who hear and believe this good news of Jesus Christ receive God’s promises of forgiveness, life, and salvation. Only the Holy Spirit creates this saving faith through God’s Word. Go tell the Good News!
We believe in Scripture Alone
The Bible is God’s inerrant and infallible Word. Through His Word God reveals His law which shows us our sin and His Gospel which saves us from our sin. Scripture is the sole rule and norm of Christian doctrine (teaching) because Scripture shows us Jesus as our true Lord and Savior.
