An update on services and the COVID-19 Pandemic

With the more recent announcments from the Center for Disease Control now restricting gatherings of fifty people or more and recommendations to keep it under ten people due to the virus we will be suspending our in person services.

As we move forward we will strive to provide information on a timely basis. We will also continue to livestream our services during the duration of this, and the link will be provide below.

As this is an immediate thing, it will be in effect for tomorrows service. Tomorrow's service will be streamed at 5:30pm.

During these challenging times it is important to be reminded that while everything seems to be going haywire, God is in control and that God is our refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). In fact, it is that Psalm which forms the foundation of Luther's Hymn "A Mighty Fortress" a hymn written in the middle of an outbreak of the plague in Wittenberg in 1527. Not only is He our refuge and strength, but He is also present, even in the midst of this, He is present.

If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to call the church office at 309-348-3180.

God's Peace be with all of you,
